Molino del Rey is ideal for all kinds of holidays, workshops & retreats e.g. Yoga, Tai Chi, Meditation, etc. With 15 years of dedication, it has been totally hand built by the owners from two ancient water mills, into probably one of the most beautiful venues in Spain.
Set in the still undiscovered wild beauty of Andalucia, the hamlet of Jorox is in a fertile green valley, flanked by orange groves in the Nature Reserve "Sierra de las Nieves", only 50 min. from the tourist resorts of the Costa del Sol and the magical city of Ronda.

A spring of the river "Rio Grande" is born at the entrance of our hamlet. From it the purest of waters pour through our centre, offering bathing facilities whilst surrounded by the wonderful fragrance of mountain flowers.

MAIN HOUSE: 1 Single Room and 7 Twin Rooms (one of which has a double & single bed,) all en-suite, with balconies &  air conditioning.

TWIN DOME & TWIN CABIN: Set in an exclusive little environment in the bottom garden, away from the main living area. These rooms have air conditioning, "Tempura" memory foam beds, terrace areas, and share a large shower plus two WC's.

A single room (fan) next to the restaurant. Use of this room would require using the WC outside the restaurant and sharing a shower in one of the other rooms.

An imaginatively designed pool, has been constructed in harmony with the natural environment of our centre. Pool-side 14 seater sauna.

The studio is 100m2 with wooden parquet flooring and occupies and extraordinary position, hand-cut out of the mountain, floor to ceiling windows with views across the valley and a door leading into the inner stillness of the caves. The latter serves as natural air conditioning in hot summer months. The studio has incredible acoustics for working with sound, and is fully equipped with yoga props and training materials.

Besides our lovely yoga studio, there is also an aprox. 60m2 wooden decking area.

We are extremely fortunate in having our own caves, particularly appreciated by meditation groups, and for chanting, overtone, Didgeridoo etc. In fact the whole mountain is honeycombed with caves.

An old Flax Mill dating back to about 1785 in which I have created an amazing 17,500 sq.ft. home which consists of:

    * Large Reception Hall
    * Reception Rooms
    * Dining Room
    * Sitting Room
    * Utility Room
    * Balconied Library
    * Kitchen
    * Sun Room
    * 8 Bedrooms – all en-suite
    * Games Room
    * Cinema
    * Swimming Pool
    * Gymnasium
    * Large Function Room.

The Pool, Gym and Function Room are joined to the main house via an Underground Tunnel so you don’t have to leave the house to get to it!

It is a stone construction with sandstone doorways and window surrounds and is filled with unique architectural pleasures.  There is a Walled Garden, Stables and Garage with approx. 6 acres of land and a fast flowing river in front of it as part of the garden. More land available on request.

It is situated off the North Coast of Ireland, 4 miles from Coleraine and approx. 20 minutes drive to Portrush or Portstewart and 15 minutes to Castlerock.

Anyone looking for a private hide away will find this a rare find.  It will make an amazing home or an upmarket retreat house for fishing, golf etc. It is very private with its own fishing - the river runs through the grounds.

The river has been surveyed for the purpose of installing a water turbine.  It will be able to generate between £35K and £50K per year and has approximately a five year pay-back.

There has been a Mill on this site for over 300 years.  Now beautifully restored both inside and with the mill wheel restored to its original working.

The Mill is approached by a long twisting drive through lush woodland; a magical approach to a stunningly beautiful valley.

Meticulously planned restoration has created an exceptional home. Sitting in over 4 acres of landscaped gardens, the mill comprises 3 double bedrooms - 1 en-suite, (from one bedroom a  spiral staircase leads to both attic space and an office) A large family bathroom with Jacuzzi, with a separately contained shower.  Each of the three floors is accessed by ornate wrought iron staircases.

On the first floor the living room and dining room are both approached through solid oak doors on either side of the hallway. The living room extends the full width of the mill with full length picture windows at either end with fantastic views. The Dining room opens on to a wide balcony, again with spectacular views.

The Dining area leads into a very spacious dining- kitchen with unusual barrel-vaulted ceiling and some mill workings still visible in one corner. The kitchen is fitted to a high specification with 'Etruscan' cream-painted furnishing and claret painted walls.

The ground floor houses a utility room, a large work shop and the impressive Mill wheel itself. Through the rear entrance there is a wide under croft suitable for undercover outdoor entertaining. In addition there is plentiful outdoor storage and further toilet facilities.
Most of the mill dates from the 18th century, however the rear section was extended at a later date to house a steam engine. This section is a separate dwelling with its own fenced off garden and does not comprise part of the sale.

Olive press and flourmill alongside small dam. Along a pretty forested road between two villages about 10km NW of Oliveira do Hospital.

Besides the olive press which consists of 2 adjoining buildings, there are 4 more smaller buildings, one of which houses the flourmill. All are in an excellent state of repair except for the roofs which need replacing. All the buildings were renovated some years ago when the olive press operated as a cafe.

Much of the machinery is still present and someone with an artistic inclination would be sure to include this in the reconstruction in some way!

Water Supply: Sinking a borehole is probably advisable.
Electricity : Existent - to be reconnected
Access directly in from the tarred road.

A small country estate!
No neighbours and no roads!
Property includes:
  • Four story Mill Building
  • 2 x adjoining houses
  • 1 x detached house
  • 1 x large barn
  • Brick outbuildings
  • Approx land (2.9 acres or 1.20 hectares)
The property is located just outside the village of Bakovci, set back from the road (no residential neighbours close to the property) accessed by a purpose built track surrounded by woodlands and fields and 10 minutes by car from the town of Murska Sobota in the region of Prekmurje, North East Slovenia which borders Hungary, Austria and Croatia. The motorway can be reached in just five minutes.

This property is registered as both residential and commercial therefore it could be used for many projects such as:
A tourist centre, camp site, tourist apartments, children’s farm (petting zoo) hotel, restaurant, small farm, adrenaline park,  spiritual centre, factory, workshops, storage facility, private farm,  the list is endless.

The actual Mill building is NOT registered as a listed building, which means there will be no problems with converting it into a commercial or residentional project.

The whole area of Bakovci has long terms plans to become a tourist centre. Old gravel pits and fishing lakes are currently being renewed and renovated and a cycle path will eventually run down past the Mill which will join up with cycle paths in Austria.

The actual Mill building was first used to produce textiles and later grain.
At the rear of the building there was a water wheel but when electricity was used to power the Mill it was removed but could be restored. The Mill wheel was originally powered by water feeding off the river Mura. Today a sluice gate on the river Mura prevents the water flow, but the stream is still there and so could be used again with permission.

People often group Slovenia with Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania, however it is more similar to Austria.
Slovenia has a good economy, very low crime rate and the people of Slovenia extremely hospitable.
