Welsh 'Heart of Wales' line station property, Llandrindod Wells

The property dates from 1865. Today the line is called the 'Heart of Wales line', and serves local people and tourists between Swansea and Shrewsbury. The station itself is now a rural and quiet backwater, known as a 'halt' stop i.e. the train will stop for you if you signal by putting out your arm.
The house is one of three, that in total originally formed the station buildings. British Rail sold the property in the early 1970s for conversion by a local builder. The house is presently habitable but in need of remedial work, and is very dated in its facilities and decoration. It is arranged with the living areas upstairs to make the most of the views of the mountains, and bedrooms and bathroom downstairs. The property has some of its original Victorian features, particularly the large bay window, and upstairs floorboards. Original room height has been reduced with false ceilings, which could be removed. There is also an outhouse that was a former railwayman's cottage, a large cavernous building that accommodates the pedestrian access through to the train platform, and a medium sized triangular shaped garden across on the other side of the station parking area.
The Station House is situated in an area of Mid Wales of stunning scenic beauty and abundant outdoor pursuits and wildlife. It is several miles down the track from Llandrindod Wells, and a couple of miles from the nearest town facilities. It is on a bus route, a train route ..... of course, and is walkable to the local pub.
Rooms downstairs, bedroom 1 18'x10'6" with windows to front and rear, bedroom 2 12'2"x9'10" window to front, bathroom.
First floor living room 18'x10'9" windows to front and rear, kitchen 12'x9'11" excl bay window to front, bedroom 3 15'6"x7'7" window to front and rear.
Workshop/outhouse 14'4"x11'10".
Condtion: fair
Please also note that the next door (middle terrrace) property has just also come on the market; this effectively makes a sizeable 5/6 bedroomed property, with entire railwayman's cottage/ outhouses, and sizeable garden, priced added together in the region of £240,000 (with no stamp duty of course as it is being sold as 2 separate properties each below stamp duty level). This opens up such opportunities for extra income as holiday accommodation, craft centre, heritage rail centre, etc.
