on the Public Pages: Jan 31 I have updated the auctions page. This is a nice derelict to restore. There are others. Have a look. I shall also be re-structuring the site over the course of the next few weeks. It is time we had a new design. The problem is that I have been ridiculously busy with re-structuring my home, and with recordings and filming. I hope shortly to be able to have my newsletters done as movies, if I can somehow persuade the creator to add a few more hours to each day. |

on the Members' Pages: Jan 31 Two auctions in the north: They contain many building sites a couple of schools for redevelopment, a rather fine public library, and a whole clutch of pubs. (Our heritage is falling apart, pubs are increasingly being squeezed out of existence.) There is a former care home with 19 bedrooms, and a barn for conversion, plus a former fire station. on the Members' Pages: Jan 24 There are some intriguing items going to auction in February, and they are not that expensive. How about a chapel for conversion in near Newport with a guide price of £10,000? There is a rather nice building plot in Frome, Somerset; and a further one just down the road in Bruton. Just up the road in the other direction at Radstock is a 19th century primary school for conversion. But the real fun item is a parcel of land with a former railway viaduct.
